Detroit, Michigan — June 24, 2026 — Members of The Links, Incorporated, one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished volunteer service organizations of professional women, will gather in Detroit for the 46th National Assembly, taking place June 24–28, 2026, at Huntington Place Convention Center.
This premier convening will bring together thousands of members from across the country and beyond for five days of leadership development, strategic planning, and impactful service aligned with the organization’s mission to enrich, sustain, and ensure the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
The National Assembly serves as the organization’s highest governing body, where delegates engage in official business, adopt policies, and chart the course for the next phase of organizational growth and community impact. The 2026 Assembly will highlight innovative programming across the organization’s five facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.
Throughout the week, attendees will participate in dynamic plenary sessions, workshops, and service initiatives designed to strengthen leadership capacity and expand community reach. The Assembly will also celebrate excellence within the organization, recognize outstanding chapters and members, and showcase transformative programs that are addressing critical issues in education, health equity, and economic empowerment.
“The National Assembly is a powerful expression of our collective commitment to service, sisterhood, and strategic impact,” said leadership representatives of The Links, Incorporated. “As we gather in Detroit, we are not only celebrating our legacy, but we are also shaping the future through innovation, collaboration, and purposeful action.”
Members will also engage with the host city through curated cultural and community experiences, reflecting the organization’s longstanding commitment to meaningful civic engagement and local partnership.
