Fort Worth Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Wins Top Honors at 47th Western Area Conference
Fort Worth, TX — The Fort Worth Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is proud to announce its recognition at the 47th Western Area Conference, where the chapter was awarded 1st Place for Best Services to Youth Program and 1st Place for Best Umbrella STEM Program. The conference, held this June, brought together chapters from across the Western Area to celebrate excellence in service, leadership, and community impact.
These prestigious honors reflect the Fort Worth Chapter’s unwavering commitment to uplifting youth and advancing education through innovative, impactful programming. The award-winning Services to Youth initiative provided mentorship, academic enrichment, and life skills development for local students. At the same time, the Umbrella STEM Program introduced youth to hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and math fields critical to future success.

The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The Fort Worth Chapter, chartered in 1959, has consistently developed programs that address community needs and build lasting impact.
